Description
GoodSoil Events is thrilled to host a special farm tour to Rodale Institute. You heard that right!
On Saturday, August 1st, a group of us will leave from Dupont Circle Metro on a shuttle and will road trip to Rodale. The cost is $100 per person and must be purchased in advance. The ticket price includes:
- Roundtrip transportation from Washington, D.C. to Rodale Institute on a shuttle
- Travel pack of goodies for the road
- Networking with awesome individuals who share similar passions
- Presentation at Rodale about their organic farming and soil practices
- Tour of Rodale Institute
- Vegetarian lunch (vegan meals can be accommodated, along with gluten-intolerant options)
- Freedom to roam the farm on your own and make purchases at their on-site store
- Bragging rights that you visited one the BEST farms in the region!
Itinerary
8:30 am – Depart from Washington, D.C.
12:00 pm – Arrival to Rodale Institute
12:15 pm – Lunch
1:00 pm – 2:30 pm Presentation and tour Rodale
2:30 pm – 3:00 Roam the farm on your own
3:00 pm – Departure from Rodale
6:00 pm – Arrive back to Washington, D.C.
Tickets are limited to 20 attendees and ONLY 10 spots left - this is intended to be a small and intimate trip. Don't wait until the last minute to get your ticket:)
